We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Duties
- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to maintain optimal oral health of patients
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and treatment options
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Assist with patient assessments and medical history updates using medical terminology
- Support the dental team with procedures such as fluoride treatments and sealants
- Maintain accurate patient records within Dentrix or similar dental software
- Ensure a clean and sterile environment following infection control protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns and scheduling follow-up appointments
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth clinic operations
Experience
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of Dentrix or other dental practice management software is advantageous
- Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is a plus
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
- Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures and terminology
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $55.00-$68.00 per hour
