Operational Risk & Controls Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Operational Risk & Controls Analyst for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Operational Risk & Controls Analyst - Job Description:
The role involves supporting the Key Indicator program and adhering to Operational Risk Management policies. The Process Analyst will engage with senior management, support onboarding and maintenance of Key Risk Indicators, and ensure timely responses to second-line reviews and challenges.

Operational Risk & Controls Analyst - Responsibilities:

- Lead and assist with assessing Key Risk Indicators to enhance the program.
- Develop and test the effectiveness of internal processes and controls.
- Conduct ongoing testing of key controls and manage exceptions.
- Assist in developing action plans to address control gaps.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and testing efficiencies.
- Work with stakeholders to enhance controls and documentation.
- Contribute to positive working relationships by sharing information and knowledge.





Operational Risk & Controls Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

- Advanced knowledge of governance, risk, and control procedures.
- Prior audit or quality control testing experience.
- Skill in using analytical software tools and data analysis methods.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Solid stakeholder communication skills.

Operational Risk & Controls Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Understanding of wholesale banking business operations.
- Comfortable presenting to executives.
- Familiarity with PowerApps.

Operational Risk & Controls Analyst – Assignment Length:
The contract is from ASAP to April 2027, with the possibility of extension.
