C.E Technology Solutions Ltd. is a Sarnia-based security systems integrator serving residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal clients across Southwestern Ontario. We specialize in intrusion alarm systems, fire alarm monitoring, CCTV and video surveillance, access control, and communications services. ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Marketing & Social Media Specialist to plan, create, and manage our marketing across both digital and print channels. This is a hands-on role: the successful candidate will design our marketing materials, manage our social media presence, and plan and run paid advertising campaigns from strategy through execution and reporting.

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced marketing professional with a strong portfolio of both digital campaigns and print design work. An understanding of technology — particularly security systems, electronics, or related technical fields — is considered a significant asset, as you will be marketing technical products and services to residential, commercial, and municipal audiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Paid Advertising & Digital Campaigns

- Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and LinkedIn
- Manage campaign budgets, targeting, and bidding strategies to maximize return on ad spend
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, and adjust strategy based on results
- Conduct keyword research, audience research,



and competitor analysis
- Create and test ad creative, copy, and landing content for each platform

Social Media Management

- Develop and maintain a content calendar across our social media channels
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging organic content that reflects our brand and services
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages professionally, and grow our online following
- Stay current with platform trends, algorithm changes, and advertising best practices

Graphic Design & Print Marketing

- Design professional print marketing materials including brochures, flyers, door hangers, and direct mail catalogues
- Design digital assets including social media graphics, display ads, and email visuals
- Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with print vendors on specifications, proofs, and production
- Maintain a consistent brand identity across all marketing materials, digital and print

General Marketing

- Contribute to overall marketing strategy, seasonal promotions, and campaign planning
- Track marketing performance and provide regular reporting to ownership
- Coordinate marketing efforts in support of new service launches and active projects

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on marketing experience, with a proven track record in digital advertising and design
- Demonstrated experience running paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and LinkedIn
- Strong social media advertising experience, including audience targeting, budget management, and performance reporting
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in professional design software (e.g., Canva — Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign — or equivalent)




- Demonstrated experience designing print marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, door hangers, and direct mail pieces, including preparing print-ready files
- A portfolio demonstrating both digital campaign work and print design work
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- A professional, positive approach consistent with our workplace culture

Assets

- An understanding of technology, security systems, electronics, or related technical fields
- Experience marketing for trades, construction, or technical service businesses
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar analytics tools
- Experience with email marketing platforms and campaigns
- Photography or video editing skills for content creation
- Experience with website content management (e.g., WordPress)
