We are seeking passionate and skilled Bootfitters, Ski Technicians, and Rental Technicians to join our dynamic winter sports team. Duties
- Fit, adjust, and customize ski boots to ensure optimal comfort and performance for guests of all ages, including children.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and tuning on skis to keep equipment in top condition.
- Assist guests with selecting rental gear that suits their skill level and preferences, providing expert advice on equipment features.
- Manage rental transactions accurately using cash handling procedures while delivering friendly guest service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of rental shop, repair areas, and storage spaces to promote safety and efficiency.
- Educate guests on proper equipment use, safety protocols, and basic ski techniques through clear communication or public speaking when needed.
- Support hospitality efforts by creating a welcoming setting for all guests, including children and families, ensuring they feel valued from arrival to departure.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bootfitter or ski technician with a strong understanding of ski equipment mechanics and fitting techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail during repairs and fittings.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude; experience working with children is a plus.
- Strong communication skills suitable for public speaking or explaining technical details clearly to guests of all ages.
- Competency in cash handling procedures with accuracy in transaction processing.
- Enthusiasm for winter sports combined with a proactive approach to guest safety and satisfaction.
