BGC Niagara is currently seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the role of the Gymnastics Instructor at the EJ Freeland Community Centre (1555 Garrison Rd., Fort Erie).

Position Overview:

The Gymnastics Instructor is responsible for the delivery of the programs and services at the assigned BGC Niagara location(s). The position is accountable to the Aquatics, Recreation and Community Programs Supervisor/Manager.

Terms of Employment:

- $21.00 per hour
- Evenings & Saturdays
- Part-time
- 4 – 8 hours per week

Qualifications:

- Vulnerable Sector Check that is obtained within the last 6 months
- Intermediate First Aid and CPR Level C
- Immunization records
- HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development (can obtain after hire)
- Experience working directly with children and/or delivering children’s programming
- Experience in performance/competitive gymnastics mandatory
- NCCP Level 1 is an asset

Deliverables include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Provide safe, effective and efficient delivery of BGC Niagara programs
- Assist with organizing, developing, documenting and implementing BGC Niagara programs
- Record attendance of participants
- Maintain accurate records with respect to program delivery
- Prepare and distribute participant evaluations
- Programs are delivered in a safe manner
