- Some overnight travel is required.
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/refrigertation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with air conditioning units.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout and installation of HVAC/refrigeration systems.
- Repair or replace defective components in air conditioning units, such as compressors, motors, and fans.
- Test HVAC/refrigeration systems for leaks and ensure proper refrigerant levels.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about air conditioning systems.
Qualifications:
- Valid class 5 driver's license with clean abstract.
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning mechanic or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC/refrigeration systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Proficient in appliance repair, plumbing, welding, boiling, building, and other related skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
