Summary

We are seeking an experienced 308A Sheet Metal Worker to join our growing team. In this role, you'll install commercial ductwork and HVAC equipment to code, working from mechanical drawings and coordinating with our installation team to deliver projects our customers can count on.

Responsibilities

- Fabricate, layout, and install ductwork and related sheet metal components per building code, SMACNA standards, and mechanical drawings
- Install HVAC equipment, hangers, supports, and duct accessories to spec
- Seal and insulate ductwork per project requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules
- Coordinate with the installation team to ensure project requirements are delivered on time
- Identify and resolve ventilation and equipment installation issues
- Maintain a safe, organized job site and follow all safety regulations and standards
- Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and customers

What You Bring

- 308A Sheet Metal Worker license required
- 5+ years of experience installing ductwork and HVAC equipment in commercial settings
- Working knowledge of SMACNA standards and applicable building codes
- Comfortable reading mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Gas Technician 2 certificate an asset
- Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44.00-$54.00 per hour
