Lead Hand position:

Schedule: Primarily evening shift with some days and weekends as required.
Compensation: Starting at $22.00/hour, with growth based on performance and expanded responsibilities.

About the Role

Seeking an experienced cleaner to lead and support general janitorial duties in office environments. This role includes operating heavy-duty equipment, supervising a small crew, and completing routine cleaning tasks to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain heavy-duty cleaning equipment (auto-scrubbers, burnishers, extractors, etc.).
- Perform floor care, including stripping, sealing/finishing.
- Conduct carpet cleaning/extraction and spot removal.
- Oversee and support a cleaning crew; assign tasks and ensure quality and safety.
- Complete general office cleaning (washrooms, dusting, waste/recycling, glass, kitchens, etc.).




- Basic computer skills to utilize tools for work orders, timekeeping, and training modules.

Qualifications

- 5+ years hands-on experience with heavy-duty floor care and carpet cleaning.
- Proven crew supervision experience.
- Ability to work days, evening and weekend availability as needed.
- General computer literacy (Basic Microsoft Office skills, phone apps etc.).
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle considered an asset.
