Overview
Kelowna Dental Centre is seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join their dynamic and innovative dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care and will work collaboratively with the team to optimize patient experience. This role requires a broad comprehension of dental procedures in a digital practice, superior communication skills, and the ability to build genuine rapport with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Conduct a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education




- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working workplace

Requirements

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
- Proficiency in using dental software
- Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
