Job Description

We are looking for full-time Frame Stylist/ Opthalmic Assistants for our Sechelt office.

Individuals who are team-oriented, outgoing with strong sales ability who can show empathy and compassion to our customers needs. Experience within the industry is welcome, but not required.

What You'll Do:

- Set up and pre-test patients for eye exams and sight tests
- Provide exceptional, meticulous and unforgettable positive customer experiences
- Connect with customers both in person and on the phone
- Style customers with prescription glasses and sunglasses, answer questions and assist with online or in-store orders
- Read prescriptions and handle all minor repairs and frame adjustments (training provided)
- Develop and nurture relationships with customers
- Hold thorough brand and product knowledge
- Process patients transactions
- Clean, restock and sanitize retail and optical areas




- Observe relevant health and safety standards and maintain a clean and professional setting

Who You Are

- Outgoing, vibrant and motivated with a genuine passion for customer service and desire to help others
- Expert communication skills and clear listening skills
- Enthusiastic about fashion, retail and eyewear styling
- Well-groomed with an innate personal style
- Previous retail and Optical/Optometry experience is an asset but not a reqirement

Salary

Starting from $20 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

- Tuesday to Saturday
- Weekend availability

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
