Position Summary

Hands-on production role focused on breaking down whole tuna into loins using a band saw. Responsible for precision cuts, yield, and consistent product quality within a fast-paced seafood processing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate band saw to break down whole tuna into loins
- Perform precise loining cuts while maximizing yield
- Trim and portion tuna to meet specifications
- Maintain consistency in cuts and presentation
- Meet daily production targets and pace requirements
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols
- Maintain clean and organized workstation
- Support overall production flow and team output

Education & Experience Requirements (Required)





- Direct experience with tuna loining
- Experience operating band saws in production
- Understanding of yield, quality, and product handling
- Experience in seafood processing environment Strong Plus
- Experience with high-volume seafood operations
- Robust speed and consistency in cutting
- Experience with multiple species or processing lines

Nice to Have

- Food safety certifications
- Experience in export-grade seafood production

Work Environment

Cold, wet seafood processing environment. Fast-paced production setting requiring standing for long periods and consistent manual work.
