Job description

- Currently seeking experienced AZ truck drivers for triaxle dump truck
- Monday to Friday (start times can vary from 6:30am to 7:30am and finish times can vary from 4:00pm to 6:00pm)
- Occasional night shifts (asphalt)
- Saturdays (6:30 - noon) from April to October
- All work is in town, no long hauls
- Year round work (some weekends and evenings during snow season, guaranteed 40 hours weekly during winter season, no layoffs)
- Deliver materials to and from job sites
- MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT ENOUGH TO CLEAN DUMP BOXES AFTER DELIVERIES AND END OF SHIFTS.
- Operates vehicle in accordance with MTO (Ministry of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, municipal, provincial, and federal laws.
- Driver will navigate driveways,



alleyways, parking lots, high traffic roadways, construction sites and may operate in tight overhead environments.
- Performs pre-trip & post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and documents checks on standard VIR (Vehicle Inspection Report).
- Performs all duties as scheduled by Dispatch and assisting other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario AZ Drivers License
- Clean drivers abstract (CVOR)
- Minimum 3 year’s dump truck driving experience.
- Knowledge of city roads and areas is an asset.
