Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced family law lawyer with 2 - 5 years of experience in British Columbia to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload, providing legal counsel to clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team of professionals and represent clients in both negotiation and litigation.

Key Responsibilities

- Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.




- Manage private family law files and ensure clients are kept informed throughout the process.
- Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, settlement proposals, correspondence, etc
- Attend trials, applications, mediations, and discoveries, advocating for clients' best interests.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of work.

Qualifications

- Called to the Bar in BC with 2 to 5 years of family law experience
- Strong understanding of family law statutes, procedures, and precedents.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Compassionate, client-focused approach to legal practice.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
