Clarence Farm Services Ltd. has proudly supported Atlantic Canadian farmers for over 50 years by producing high-quality livestock feed. We are looking for a motivated Buyer & Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Truro team.

Schedule

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Full-time, permanent position
- Based in Truro, Nova Scotia

What You'll Do

As our Buyer & Supply Chain Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our manufacturing operations have the right ingredients, at the right time, and at the best value.

Responsibilities include:

- Purchase raw materials and negotiate with suppliers
- Coordinate inbound transportation and deliveries
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Plan inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations
- Analyze historical demand and forecast inventory requirements
- Work closely with production to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement
- Analyze supply chain performance to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Perform other purchasing and supply chain duties as required

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

- A degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering,



or a related field (APICS designation considered an asset)
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Agricultural or farming knowledge is considered a strong asset
