Job Overview

We are seeking a PART-TIME Baking Assistant to join our bakery team for a 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM shift!. This role involves supporting the baking process, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, food safety, and excellent customer service skills. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a vibrant food industry setting.

Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients for baked goods
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and other kitchen tools safely and efficiently
- Package baked items for sale while maintaining quality standards
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Support the team with general kitchen duties,



including cleaning and organizing supplies

Experience

- Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food preparation environment is preferred but not required
- Skills food handling, and food safety are highly desirable
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food industry standards is advantageous
- Experience in food presentation and packaging will be considered a plus
- A strong interest in baking and culinary arts is essential for success in this role
