Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our agile restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop hospitality skills within a fast-paced food service environment, contributing to memorable dining experiences.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist in setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining a clean dining environment
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
- Provide guest services by addressing questions,



special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Skills

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, with knowledge of the food industry standards
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is a plus but not required
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales performance
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests seamlessly

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
