Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use

- Support the cooking team by preparing simple menu items under supervision, following recipes and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food items safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped for service
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Knowledge of basic food handling procedures and food safety practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and bending frequently
- Strong attention to detail when cleaning dishes, organizing supplies, and preparing ingredients

- Familiarity with serving standards and meal presentation is a plus
