Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. The shifts we are looking to fill are Monday - Wednesday from 4pm - 11pm. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and promoting our products effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for sales and customer engagement. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales or product demos are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop retail and sales skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping experience
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Provide product demonstrations and explain features to customers
- Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions to increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards and organize product displays
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth checkout processes
- Ensure accurate cash handling and balance registers at the end of shifts
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and organization

Requirements

- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to perform product demos and engage customers effectively
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Qualified phone etiquette and customer service orientation
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.75-$20.00 per hour
