Position 1: Certified Journeyman Electrician Core Responsibilities

- Install and Maintain: Lay out, assemble, test, and repair electrical fixtures, wiring, control devices, and distribution panels.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret schematics, architectural drawings, and electrical code specifications to plan layouts.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and isolate electrical faults in complex systems and replace faulty components efficiently.
- Mentorship: Supervise and train apprentice electricians on safety practices, tool usage, and proper installation techniques.

Qualifications

- Valid Journeyman Electrician License / Red Seal Certificate.
- Strong knowledge of current local and national electrical codes.
- Excellent problem-solving, time-management, and leadership skills.

Position 2: Electrical Apprentice Core Responsibilities

- Assist Journeymen: Work closely under the direct supervision of a certified electrician to complete daily installations and repairs.
- Material Management: Run conduit, pull wire, measure, cut, and prep electrical components using hand and power tools.
- Site Preparation: Keep the job site safe and organized by handling tools, organizing materials,



and cleaning work zones.
- Active Learning: Listen carefully to instructions, take measurements accurately, and apply classroom theory to real-world tasks.

Qualifications

- Registered in a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship program.
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and electrical components.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.

General Requirements & Working Conditions

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
- Normal colour vision for safe wire identification.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (indoor and outdoor jobsites).
