Inspire Montessori is seeking passionate, dedicated, and Montessori-accredited educators to join our growing team. We are currently hiring for our Toddler/Pre-Casa (15 months–2.5 years) and Casa/Preschool (2.5–6 years) programs.

Position Overview

As a Montessori Educator, you will create a warm, respectful, and engaging learning environment where each child is encouraged to develop at their own pace. Working collaboratively with fellow educators, you will guide children through meaningful experiences that support their cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development while maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and implement engaging Montessori learning experiences that support each child's individual development.
- Create and maintain a safe, organized, and inviting classroom environment with developmentally appropriate Montessori materials.
- Observe, document, and assess children's progress, interests, and developmental milestones to support individualized learning.
- Foster independence, self-confidence, positive social interactions, and conflict-resolution skills through respectful guidance.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues while maintaining open and professional communication.
- Maintain accurate daily records, including attendance, observations, incidents, and required documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and centre policies.
- Promote children's physical, emotional, and mental well-being by providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings,

- Collaborate effectively with the teaching team to provide a consistent, high-quality Montessori program.

Qualifications

- MACTE-accredited Montessori Diploma (required).
- Minimum two years of experience working with Toddler, Pre-Casa, or Casa-aged children.
- Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy, curriculum, and classroom management.
- Excellent observation, organization, and documentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative teaching team.
- Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- French language skills are considered an asset but are not required.

Required Certifications

- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain before employment).
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Up-to-date immunization records, including a completed 2-Step TB Test, Tetanus, and MMR vaccinations.
