Class 5 – Delivery Truck Drivers

Springhill Lumber (Wholesale) Ltd. is looking for full-time Class 5 Delivery Drivers. These positions are from Monday to Friday with some overtime as required.

The successful candidates will receive full company-paid advantages after 90days.

Rate of Pay: Depending on Experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Deliver building materials to customers’ job sites and pick up from vendors as instructed by the shipping department.
- Pick up any excess building materials from job sites as instructed, and complete the required paperwork.
- Ensure orders are accurately filled, counted, loaded, unloaded, and secured following all safe work requirements.
- Receive and relay information to the shipping department in a timely manner.
- Be professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service.
- Other duties as required.

Requirements & Desirables:

- Valid Class 5 (5F) driver’s licence required.
- Obtain and maintain a current driver’s abstract (issued within the last 3 months).
- Ability to do physical labour including lifting, carrying (over 50 lbs.), bending repeatedly on a daily basis.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent listening, communication,



and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift certification is considered an asset; in-house training available.
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, demanding working environment.
- Dependable, punctual, friendly, and organized, with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
- Reliable vehicle is required, as this is a non-bus route.

Working Conditions:

- Exposure to dust and extreme changes in temperature and weather when working outside year-round.
- Safety boots and safety equipment are required.
- Fast-paced, high-volume environment.
