Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Corporate/Commercial Law Clerk to support our legal team in managing corporate and commercial legal matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, drafting, and administrative skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate law within a professional environment, contributing to the preparation and management of legal documents and supporting ongoing legal processes.

Duties

- Drafting, proofreading, and reviewing legal documents related to corporate and commercial transactions
- Managing legal files and documents
- Assisting with project management tasks to ensure timely completion of legal projects
- Supporting attorneys with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining organized case files
- Conducting interviews and gathering relevant information for case development




- Handling correspondence with clients, vendors, and internal teams via phone etiquette and professional communication
- Performing clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining accurate records

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 5 years of corporate/commercial law clerk experience
- Mandarin or Cantonese fluency is preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in legal drafting, writing skills, and proofreading are essential
- Excellent attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and filing skills
- Effective communication skills including qualified phone etiquette

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
