Part Time Respite Worker

We are looking for a reliable and compassionate individual to provide private respite care for our happy, music-loving 17-year-old daughter. She has Rett Syndrome is non-verbal and non-mobile, meaning she relies on her aide for all aspects of her daily routine.

The Schedule

We are looking for someone to join our team part time for 2-3 evening/weekend shifts per week, some daytime shifts may also be available until the school year starts back up. Shifts times change depending on the day of the week but are typically one of the three following times: 230pm-8pm, 930am-2pm, noon-8pm

Key Responsibilities

Our daughter is a joyful girl who loves swimming and being around her two younger siblings. Your role will involve:

Personal Care: Assistance with feeding, changing, and showering.

Physical Support: Implementing stretches and exercises.

Mobility: Must be comfortable with lifting (she is approximately 65 lbs).

Transportation: Providing pickups from school and assistance with medical appointments using our wheelchair van

Engagement: Playing, listening to music, and keeping her active and included.
