Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and qualified Taxi Driver to provide safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a solid commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively. This role offers an opportunity to work flexible hours while ensuring passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on time. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with experience in commercial driving preferred.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate taxi vehicles to transport passengers to various destinations within the city or designated areas
- Greet passengers warmly and assist with boarding, luggage handling, and seating arrangements as needed
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times to ensure safety and comfort
- Manage time efficiently to adhere to schedules and meet passenger expectations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, providing receipts when necessary
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every shift
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, fares, and estimated arrival times




- Keep records of trips, fares, and mileage for reporting purposes

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus
- Proven experience in driving or transportation services preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality and efficient route planning
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of local streets, routes, and traffic patterns is desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Physical ability to assist passengers with luggage or mobility needs when required
