Western Rental Services is hiring a Shop Hand to join our team in our Grande Prairie location!
This is mainly an in-shop oilfield position, where the individual is required to wash, transport, inspect, assemble and service rental equipment. This position will also be required to complete all aspects of shop service work and work orders as directed by the Base Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Operating Forklifts and Overhead Cranes
- Delivery and pick ups using work truck
- Wash, inspect, assemble and paint equipment
- Complete daily crane and forklift inspections
- Other duties as assigned
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 1-3 years industry related experience
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
- Mechanically inclined is an asset
- First Aid Ticket an Asset but not required
- H2S Ticket an Asset but not required
- Forklift Training an Asset but not required
- Over Crane Certified an Asset but not required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Other duties as required
