Receptionist – Part Time Position

Jim Gauthier Kia is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a key role in creating a positive dealership experience while supporting multiple departments with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department
- Track and log incoming sales calls
- Process customer payments and issue receipts
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Securely deposit funds into the safe
- Manage and track dealer plates, gas cards, keys, and other dealership assets
- Assist with filing, data entry, and general administrative duties
- Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area
- Support sales, service, and administration teams as required
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable handling cash and financial transactions
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a rapid-paced environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is considered an asset
- Previous reception, administrative, or customer service experience is considered an asset- willing to train the right candidate
- Automotive dealership experience is an asset but not required
