Job Overview

This is a dynamic position that combines reporting and reconciliation responsibilities, providing the opportunity to work closely with multiple departments and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of our business. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing reports, reconciling data, maintaining accurate records, supporting administrative functions, and helping to improve processes and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

- Reconcile all sales by comparing vendor (Rogers/Fido/Chatr) reporting against our POS and system records to confirm we receive the correct subsidies, rebates, commissions, and revenue, flagging any missing or short-paid activations and upgrades.
- Reconcile commissions at the rep and location level by recalculating payouts, identifying discrepancies against amounts already paid, and determining per-rep adjustments.
- Track clawbacks and chargebacks, catching deactivations and downgrades that fall within the clawback window.
- Submit, follow up on, and resolve all discrepancies with the vendor, maintaining clear records of disputes and outcomes.




- Review each day's sales for suspicious or fraudulent activity, identifying irregular behavior and patterns that may indicate misconduct.
- Audit POS transactions for accuracy and flag errors.
- Audit vendor fraud reporting and report findings to management.
- Perform general office-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and working with large datasets.
- High numeracy and comfort working with financial data, commissions, and high transaction volumes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to spot patterns, anomalies, and irregularities.
- Strong problem-solving skills for investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Discretion and trustworthiness when handling sensitive financial and fraud-related information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
- Able to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, in office.
- Familiarity with POS systems and/or wireless carrier reporting (Rogers/Fido/Chatr) an asset.
- Experience in wireless/telecom industry knowledge is an asset.
- Experience in Rogers knowledge is an asset
