Savage is looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our Finance team as Staff Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience in a variety of accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Bank reconciliation and cash reporting
- Assists Accounting Supervisor and General Accountant with A/P entry
- Perform Variance Analysis on purchased goods
- Month end duties including journal entries, analyses, account reconciliations

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

- Weekly operational reports and scrap tracking
- Assist the Accounting Supervisor with forecasting and special projects




- Prepare monthly reports as required by GM
- Backs up Credit Card, A/R, and costing functions

Education and Experience Requirements:

- University degree or College diploma in Accounting or Finance required
- 1+ years of accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
