Parallel One Enterprises provides product and service solutions to some of North America’s largest resource-based sectors including Forestry, Mining, Aggregate, Steel Recycling, Biomass Energy and Hemp. We are a major construction contractor in Welding, Heavy Fabrication, Millwrighting, Electrical and General-Construction.

We are currently hiring experienced Industrial Millwrights to support Lumber Mill (Sawmill & Planer Mill) projects in the United States with Installation and Maintenance Services for manufacturing systems & equipment.

Day and Night Shifts. 12 hour shifts daily. Typical turnaround is 3-4 weeks on, 2-3 weeks off. Hourly rate for Journeyman starts at $47-$48 /hour. Plus $150.00 USD LOA (paid in Canadian equivalent) for each day worked.

Experience in Industrial Sawmills/Lumber Mills and with industrial mill manufacturing equipment is Mandatory. Familiarity with other trade processes is expected.

REQUIREMENTS

- Submit resume and ticket with application
- Must have field experience in live Lumber Mills (Sawmills & Planer Mills)
- Must have experience with Industrial Manufacturing Equipment & Systems (i.e., Conveyors, Stackers, Trimline Systems, Infeed Systems, Planers, Edgers, Hoppers, Debarkers)
- Blue-print reading skills required and ability to work with or without drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Dedicated to quality excellence with a superior work ethic




- Must be able to work unsupervised at times
- Must be drug free **
- Willing to work days, nights, weekends
- Current Safety or Training Certificates an asset (i.e., Fall Arrest, Aerial Platform, Forklift Operator)
- Red Seal Ticket an asset

SPECIFICS

- Adhere to all Parallel and Client Safety standards and governing regulations
- Assemble, Prepare and Install major sawmill/lumber mill manufacturing systems & equipment.
- Perform completions, commissioning and start-up for all installed systems & equipment.
- Ensure the operability and efficiency of installed mill manufacturing production.
- Troubleshoot installed machinery and equipment and make accurate judgements to repair with minimal downtime.
- Provide maintenance consulting expertise to the client regarding equipment operations, general and emergency maintenance, shut down maintenance and operational governance.
- Perform Machine Centre Optimization, per installations.
- Read and interpret drawings.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with co-workers.
