The Role:

As Director, SimCorp, you will provide strategic and technical leadership for the SimCorp platform and its supporting technology ecosystem. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for platform strategy, architecture, modernization, and operational excellence while partnering closely with Finance and Investment Operations to deliver technology solutions that support CPP Investments' investment accounting and performance capabilities.

The Team:

Technology & Operations enables CPP Investments to deliver on its global investment mandate through secure, resilient, and creative technology capabilities. The department partners across the organization to provide enterprise platforms that support investment operations, finance, and critical business functions while ensuring technology remains scalable, resilient, and aligned with business priorities.

The SimCorp Technology team is responsible for the SimCorp platform and its supporting technology ecosystem, including the critical integrations that enable Finance, Investment Operations, and enterprise investment accounting and performance capabilities. As the organization continues to grow in scale and complexity, the team drives platform modernization,



operational excellence, and technology strategy to support CPP Investments' evolving business needs.

Accountabilities

- Partner with Finance and Investment Operations Product Owners to define and execute the strategic roadmap for the SimCorp platform, ensuring alignment with business priorities, enterprise architecture, and technology strategy.

- Lead the evolution, modernization, and operational stewardship of the SimCorp platform, balancing platform stability, resiliency, risk management, and long-term sustainability.

- Drive agile delivery across the platform portfolio with accountability for solution quality, operational readiness, technology lifecycle management, and business outcomes.

- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance, ensuring technology decisions are supported by sound engineering practices, systems thinking, and modern integration approaches.

- Build and manage strategic relationships with SimCorp and other technology partners to maximize value, drive accountability, and support evolving business needs.

- Foster engineering excellence and continuous improvement across platform operations, product reliability, delivery practices, and team effectiveness.

- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and innovation.

What You Bring

- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive technology experience, including leadership responsibility within complex enterprise technology environments.





- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing, multidisciplinary technology teams.

- Experience supporting enterprise platforms within financial services, asset management, pension, capital markets, or related industries.

- Strong technology leadership, architectural decision-making, systems thinking, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing strategic technology direction.

- Experience with enterprise investment platforms, including SimCorp Dimension, Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, Portfolio Accounting, Performance Measurement, or related investment servicing capabilities is considered an asset.

- CFA, CAIA, or equivalent investment domain knowledge is considered an asset.
