Share your knowledge of Greater Victoria, British Columbia and Canada in general, while leading groups of visitors from Ogden Point Pier to the Inner Harbour

Work in Victoria during the beautiful summer season keeping guest engaged throughout a unique experience

What you will be doing:

-
Receiving guests as they disembark for their Cruise
- Led guest on fixed-route Walking Tours with stops for verbal talks
- Attention to safety concerns of traffic and walkways
- At the conclusion of each Tour communicate the available options to return to the Cruise Ship
- Communicating with the Pier Staff as necessary
- Knowledge of the history of the City




- Build your own presentation with cultural and historic information (Training provided)

Who we are looking for:

- Individuals that can work independently, be friendly , outgoing and a good communicator
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced workplace
- Take command in stressful and/or awkward situations
- Be able to multitask, be reliable, punctual and committed to being an ambassador for life in Victoria
- Previous experience as a Tour Guide or working with Tourist will be taken into consideration
- All tours require a three hour commitment - schedules are provided a month in advance
