Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mobile Physiotherapist to join our community-based team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions by delivering personalized treatment plans directly in their homes, workplaces, or community spaces. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through expert, convenient care that promotes independence. The Mobile Physiotherapist will operate autonomously in the field while staying connected to our multidisciplinary support network to improve overall patient well-being.

Duties

- Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations within their home or community environment.
- Identify environmental barriers or safety hazards in the patient's home to optimize their living space for recovery.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s personal goals and home setup.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional mobility training in a home setting.
- Monitor patient progress and dynamically adjust treatment strategies based on real-world functional improvements.
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home safety, transfer techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of mobile visits, progress notes, and treatment outcomes using our digital platform.
- Collaborate remotely with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.




- Manage personal travel schedule and travel efficiently between patient locations within the designated service area.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as a registered Physiotherapist in the province of Edmonton.
- Active driver’s license with a reliable vehicle and clean driving record for daily travel.
- Prior home health experience or community care experience is highly preferred.
- Strong autonomous decision-making skills to safely manage care without immediate on-site supervision.
- Physical ability to transport portable therapy equipment and assist patients with mobility transfers in diverse home layouts.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate, adaptable, and respectful approach to entering diverse households.
- Strong communication skills for educating families and coordinating care plans via telehealth or digital tools.
- Additional assets we are hoping to find a licensed physiotherapist certified with all or one of the above, dry needling/ acupuncture certification, vestibular, concussion, pelvic, or any other additional certifications. Please still apply if you do not have these additional assets.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $105.00 per hour
