About Us

Grief can be one of life's most isolating experiences. At the Centre for Grief and Healing, we believe no one should have to navigate the loss of a loved one alone.

For more than 35 years, we've been providing compassionate peer grief support to individuals and families across Halton and Peel. Through peer support groups, one-to-one support, workshops, outreach, and memorial events, we help people connect with others who understand and find hope while navigating grief.

About the Event

For 29 years, Walk to Remember has brought our community together to honour, remember, and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have died. It is a meaningful day where individuals, families, friends, and neighbours come together to walk, run, or roll, share memories, and support one another.

As the Centre for Grief and Healing's largest annual fundraiser, Walk to Remember helps ensure our grief support services remain accessible to those who need them most. Every volunteer plays an significant role in creating a welcoming, compassionate experience for participants while helping make this special day possible.
