We are seeking motivated Line Associates to join our production team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our manufacturing line, ensuring products are made to company standards while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Major Duties of the Position:
1. Inspect products for quality and compliance with company standards
2. Package, label, and palletize finished goods
3. Assist with changeovers, sanitation, and routine equipment checks
4. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
5. Adhere to all Health & Safety, GMP and QA standards.
6. Pro-actively identify/report any safety concerns.
7. Care for the Environment by actively seeking out ways to eliminate waste of natural resources and by properly recycling any waste that cannot be avoided.
8. Actively participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
9. Operate and monitor production line equipment
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Specifications:
1. Grade 12 education or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of food manufacturing and bakery production processes is highly desirable.
3. Demonstrated ability to perform whole number and fractional calculations.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Mechanical aptitude, with troubleshooting skills
6. Ability to operate walkie truck.
7. Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
8.
Maintain quality and safety standards.
9. Ensure compliance to Quality and Food Safety requirements within the scope of the position.
Working Conditions:
Physical Effort:
- Occasional lifting of 30 lbs ingredient bags.
- Range of motion floor to shoulder.
- Walking / standing – continuously.
- Pulling / pushing – 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Low level climbing during filler changeovers.
- Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs (cases).
Physical Environment
- Operations temperature is maintained at 55-70˚ F.
- High humidity and wet conditions during cleaning.
Sensory Attention
- Medium.
