Job Summary

Reporting to the President/CEO, Security Manager oversees and manages all aspects of Security operations for both Primco corporate head office and its client security contracts. Security Manager also ensures that policies and procedures are in place to provide a secure and secure environment for employees, visitors, assets, and confidential or proprietary information.

Responsibilities

Worksite Operations

· Develop, implement and maintain security policies and procedures for the Primco corporate head office

· Ensure that all client security contracts are maintained and delivered

· Manage and train security guards to all duties pertaining to the Worksite Operations

· Ensure security guard staffing schedules are maintained

· Ensure all access control systems and CCTV equipment are operational and resolve problems immediately

· Conduct regular security inspections, from equipment, vehicles to safety

· Investigate all security threats and breaches, and submit comprehensive security reports

· Attend monthly corporate management meetings and submit a monthly Security Board Report

Finance





· Develop five-year financial budget for operations cost

· Review financial budgets, quarterly and monthly income and balance sheet statements for all the security limited partnership company

· Recommend annual budget for training (safety courses and other training objects and donations)

· Analyze and control financial accountability and design and report financial statistics

Health and Safety

· Work with Health and Safety department to ensure all policies and procedures are enforced, as part of the risk reduction, compliance with laws, and promoting general well-being

· Ensure all employees have completed the Health and Safety Orientation and training, as required.

Human Resources

· Submit Recruitment Request Forms to Human Resources when hiring is required

· Meet with applicants during interviews

· Approves the final selection for hiring

· Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure policies and procedures are enforced

· Maintains utmost confidentiality and discretion

Other duties

· All other duties as assigned

Requirements

· 3-5 experience in security supervision or management considered an asset

· Alberta Security License

· Criminal Record Check (within a 90-day period)

· Class 5 Driver’s License

· 3-year Drivers Abstract

· First Aid with CPR

· H2S Alive

· CSTS 2020 or Common Safety Orientation (Energy Safety Canada)

· D & A Test as required

· Strong client service, judgment, dependability, and professionalism

· Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends

· Skills: Lifting, surveillance, dealing with uncertainty, emotional control, safety management, reporting
