Knelsen Sand & Gravel Ltd. is a leading road construction company providing premier services throughout Alberta. We are currently seeking a Crew Labourer to join our Grande Prairie Paving Crew.

As a Paving Crew Labourer/Skid Steer Operator, you will play a vital role in supporting base construction operations and ensuring projects run safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and contributing to large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities:

- Operate the skid steer
- Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and general construction activities.
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment.
- Provide traffic control and assist with jobsite safety.
- Perform general manual labour duties as required.
- Support equipment operators and crew members to keep work progressing smoothly.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite at all times.

General Qualifications:

- Experience operating a skid steer.
- Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and procedures.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to and from the worksite and operate company vehicles.




- Positive physical condition and stamina; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to perform manual tasks efficiently.
- Ability to lead by example and follow all safety policies and requirements.
- This is a safety-sensitive position; pre-employment drug screening is required.
