The Piano Studio is a vibrant music school with two locations, in Newmarket and Aurora. We combine a passion for excellence and solid fundamentals with the belief that making music should be fun! We are looking for a part-time Customer Service Representative for our Aurora location, with occasional shifts at our Newmarket location.

The Customer Service Position

The purpose of this position is to support the Location Manager in growing and running the music school by enrolling students and providing the best possible service to customers. The main duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

Sales & Customer Service

- Handle lesson inquiries over the phone and in person with the goal of enrolling new students.
- Give tours, answer questions, and present the unique value of The Piano Studio.
- Enroll and schedule students.
- Set up student accounts and billing information.
- Provide professional and prompt customer service as needed in a positive and friendly manner.

Assist With School Operations

- Perform Opening/Closing procedures at beginning/end of the day.
- Manage lesson changeovers to ensure incoming students are greeted by their teacher and outgoing students are released to their parent/guardian.




- Tidy up the waiting room and washrooms as needed.
- Performing closing duties alone at times
- Perform any other tasks as required by the Location Manager

Compensation Details:

- Wages: $18.00-20.00 per hour
- Regular Hours (September -June): Monday to Thursday 3:30pm-9:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-3:30pm, except during any Location school holiday closures and Stat Holidays
- Summer Hours (July-August): To be determined
- Part-time hours: 28.5 hours/week
