Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. You will assist in the preparation and serving of food, ensuring that all safety and hygiene standards are met. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in the food industry and enjoy working with people.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including dining and kitchen spaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Provide assistance to customers as needed, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.





Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
