Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer to join our accounting team. This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax documents, and supporting clients with their bookkeeping needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting software and a solid understanding of financial processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency in all tasks. Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero for data entry, ledger management, and reporting
- Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data across various accounts
- Assist in payroll processing and related activities to ensure timely and accurate employee payments
- Support tax preparation by organizing financial documents, preparing necessary schedules, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations




- Conduct budget analysis and provide insights for financial planning and decision-making
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or tax preparation roles
- Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant tools
- Strong understanding of accounting principles such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting
- Knowledge of payroll processing procedures and tax regulations is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
