Excavation/Civil Contracting company currently looking for an experienced Foreman to join our crew!

Our projects operate throughout Vancouver and the sea to sky corridor (North & West Vancouver, Lions Bay and to Squamish). Specifically we do earth and civil works excavation, underground utilities, demolition and site preparation projects. Experience with civil works is a must and individuals should be comfortable with steep excavation and varying in all types of terrain and environment.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

-Supervising crew activity along with following direction from the project manager & site superintendent

-Self-perform site tasks while managing specialized trade contractors, deliveries, trucking etc. to maintain the project schedule and site requirements.

-Ensuring safety codes and regulations are being correctly followed and adhered to

-Resolving all site-related problems and making recommendations to improve worksite efficiency

-Maintaining project records, submitting day to day reports, keeping track of site activities

-Promote and maintain positive and qualified business conduct with clients,



suppliers and sub-trade contractors

Requirements:

- Min 3 years of experience as a supervisory role in civil construction, underground utilities and earthworks.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, building specifications, as-builts & do calculations
- Complete understanding and compliance of safety procedures, especially around demolition, heavy machinery and working with the public
- Must have a valid driver's license and transportation
- Preference given to those who possess valid certifications and/or tickets

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
