About Us

Canada Royal Arts High School (CIRA) is a private international high school located in Vancouver, British Columbia.

In 2025, CIRA was recognized as a Top 10 Finalist for the World's Best School Prize for Innovation, one of the world's most prestigious awards in K–12 education.

As our school continues to grow, we are seeking a creative, results-driven Social Media & Student Recruitment Officer to strengthen our digital presence, promote the CIRA brand, and support student recruitment in Canada and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and operate CIRA’s Chinese and international social media platforms, with a strong focus on Xiaohongshu (RED), Douyin, WeChat Channels, and other major social media platforms.
- Plan, create, edit, and publish engaging short-form videos, posts, promotional content, and recruitment campaigns.
- Organize and host livestreams to introduce the school, programs, student life, events, and admissions information.
- Develop creative content strategies to increase followers, engagement, inquiries, and student recruitment leads.
- Promote CIRA’s brand, achievements, programs, student success stories, and school activities.
- Respond to online inquiries from prospective students and parents and support the admissions follow-up process.
- Convert social media traffic and inquiries into prospective student leads.




- Support student recruitment campaigns targeting Canada, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other international markets.
- Photograph and film school events, student activities, campus life, interviews, and promotional materials.
- Monitor social media trends and develop content that is relevant, engaging, and suitable for CIRA’s target audiences.
- Track social media performance, inquiries, and recruitment results and prepare regular reports.
- Work closely with the admissions and school management teams on branding, marketing, and recruitment initiatives.

Qualifications

- Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English is required.
- Strong Chinese writing, communication, and content creation skills.
- Previous experience with Xiaohongshu, Douyin, WeChat Channels, livestreaming, short-video production, social media marketing, or content creation is strongly preferred.
- Experience in education marketing, student recruitment, digital marketing, media, or branding is an asset.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and/or hosting livestreams is an asset.
- Strong understanding of Chinese social media trends and audiences.
- Basic photography, video shooting, and video editing skills.
- Creative, proactive, organized, and results-driven.




- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Compensation will be determined based on experience, social media skills, recruitment resources, and demonstrated performance.
