The Central Maintenance team looks after our commercial buildings and commercial laundry facility. This role plays a hands-on part in keeping those spaces safe and functional while building respectful relationships with stakeholders.

Job Details

- Carrying out routine and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting issues and completing minor repairs related to plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and general building wear
- Maintaining strong service levels and positive working relationships with stakeholders
- Participating in a shared-on call schedule
- Working safely at all times by following health and safety policies and reporting hazards or injuries immediately
- Taking on additional tasks as needed to support the overall operations at BCP

Qualifications

- A self-motivated work style with willingness to learn and take responsibility for assigned tasks
- Mechanical aptitude and a practical, logical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
- Comfort working independently while using sound judgment to ask for support when needed




- A friendly, professional, and service focused approach
- Hands on experience with building maintenance and plumbing
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and a sense of ownership over work
- Physical ability to handle the demands of the role, including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs above head height, and working safely at heights up to 40 ft on a ladder and 85 ft on a manual lift
- A valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license or eligibility to convert from out of province or overseas
