One-on-One Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time One-on-One Support Worker. In this role, you will work closely with a student who requires emotional support, providing guidance and direction during playtime activities. Your primary responsibility will be to create a supportive and engaging environment that fosters positive interactions and helps the child develop essential social and emotional skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with the children in various play activities, including games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play, while encouraging positive behavior and social interactions.
- Implement behavioral management strategies tailored to the individual needs of each child, promoting self-regulation and conflict resolution skills.
- Collaborate with other members of the support team,



including parents, teachers, and therapists, to ensure consistency and continuity in the children's care and development.
- Document and communicate observations of the children's behavior and progress to the appropriate stakeholders.
Maintain a secure and nurturing environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:

Passion for Children: Must love working with kids and be patient, attentive, and fun.

Eligibility : At least 19 years old, with a clear criminal record check (or willingness to obtain one), and valid First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Certification: Responsible Adult Course required (ILM will enroll you in the course and the cost will be covered by us.)

Job Details:

No Weekend Work: Enjoy your weekends off!

Contract Position: 2-3 months (may extend depending on the child's needs)

Part-Time: Weekdays only 7:45 AM-12:45 PM (may change depending on the child's schedule)
