We are currently hiring an Inventory Control / Production Assistant for Full-time days, Monday – Friday with weekends during busy seasons (optional). Flexible work schedule, 34 hours in the Spring months, with 42.5 hours the rest of the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive & Inspect Shipments: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming products, packaging, and supplies against purchase orders. Receive inbound shipments using warehouse equipment, ensuring safe handling of goods.
- Put Away Inventory: Safely and efficiently transfer stock to designated storage locations (coolers, racks, and warehouse).
- Invoice & Lot Number Verification: Enter inventory invoices into our system with high accuracy, carefully verifying lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates.
- Production Receipts: Enter daily production receipts into the system to keep finished goods inventory accurate in real time.
- Order Fulfillment Support: Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing items for outbound shipping, supporting efficient order fulfillment processes.
- Inventory Audits: Participate in regular cycle counts and stock audits to maintain high data integrity.
- Production room assist: Assist when need in the production room.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Commination Skills: Must be able to read and write English and the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Experience: Experience in inventory control, warehouse work, or receiving is an asset.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy when working with numbers, SKU numbers, and lot tracking code sequences.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using inventory software/ERP systems, and basic Microsoft Excel/Spreadsheets.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the 8.5 hour shift.
- Quick-Paced Mindset: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under tight production schedules.
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
