Job Summary

Duties

- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Support medical staff with tasks including medication administration, patient monitoring, and basic nursing procedures
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to document patient information and care activities
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure clear understanding of care plans and needs
- Operate computer systems efficiently to update patient records and manage administrative tasks
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns with empathy and professionalism

Requirements

- Proven experience in acute care settings or nursing assistance is highly desirable
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer operation is essential
- Exceptional communication skills to interact clearly with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism
- Valid certifications related to healthcare or caregiving are advantageous but not mandatory
