Haptrans Holdings Ltd. has been providing international freight forwarding and logistics services in Canada since 2010. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Operator to join our team. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics operations for air, ocean, and ground freight shipments.
- Arrange bookings with carriers and monitor shipments from origin to destination.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, overseas agents, and service providers to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (B/L), Air Waybills (AWB), commercial invoices, customs documents, and other related paperwork.
- Track shipments and proactively update customers on shipment status, delays, or issues.
- Resolve operational issues and provide excellent customer service.
- Support the sales team with shipment coordination and customer inquiries.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- preferred experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of international shipping procedures and documentation.
- Solid organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with freight forwarding or logistics software is an asset.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Mandarin is required.
