Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and outgoing individual to join the team as a Custom's Processing Clerk out of terminal in Brampton. To over see the day to day activities of the processing center (Northbound, Southbound, Inland Bonds) ensuring a high level of customer service, as well as achieving border clearance rates above 90%.
Hours:
Monday to Friday - Evening Shift :23:30-07:00.

Position Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the STPC/Customs Processing team, assigning and monitoring daily workflows
- Ensure all team members follow company policies and procedures
- Oversee PARS/PAPS processing and ensure accuracy of customs documentation
- Manage imaging, paperwork submission to brokers, and manifest completion in a timely manner
- Ensure inland bonds are processed quickly to minimize delays
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve cross-border freight issues and delays
- Maintain communication with customers, brokers, drivers, and U.S. partners
- Keep management informed of operational issues, risks,
and updates
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns
- Evaluate staffing needs and support performance management
- Assist drivers and internal teams with customs-related requests
- Support continuous improvement of processes and service levels
Position Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cross border operations in dealing with Customs, Brokers, Shipper/Consignees.
- 2+ years of experience in cross-border transportation/logistics (Asset )
- Strong knowledge of PARS (PAPS is an asset)
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Solid understanding of customs procedures and freight flow
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Good computer skills
