About CarInspect

CarInspect provides vehicle inspection services across Canada. Our platform connects buyers and dealerships with qualified automotive inspectors to deliver fast, reliable, and professional evaluations.

We are currently looking for contract workers available Monday through Wednesday to complete vehicle condition reports primarily.

We are currently hiring in:

- Victoria and / Or Nanaimo

Expected workload is approximately 20-30 condition reports a week. But variable.

Must be available Monday- Wednesdays

Position Overview

The role mainly involves:

- Performing visual and functional vehicle condition reports
- Taking detailed photos and documenting the general condition of vehicles using our mobile application
- Inspecting multiple vehicles at the same location
- Traveling to dealerships or private sellers

No mechanical certification is required for this role.

However, candidates with recognized certifications may qualify for additional assignments, including:

- Pre-purchase inspections (PPI)
- Post-purchase inspections (PSI)
- Troubleshoots

How It Works

- You receive assignments based on your area and fixed availability
- You confirm appointments with the seller or dealership




- You travel onsite to complete the condition report
- You complete the report directly in our mobile application

Ideal Candidate

- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable with frequent travel
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile applications
- Automotive, dealership, or mechanical experience is a strong asset
- Available to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Required Tools

- Smartphone with data plan
- Tire gauge (asset)

Conditions

- Contract / Freelance position
- Part-time: 2–3 fixed days per week
- No guaranteed minimum hours
- Availability primarily Monday to Friday
