About Us
At Fairfield Inn & Suites Sault Ste. Marie, we pride ourselves on providing warm hospitality and a welcoming environment for every guest. We’re currently seeking a reliable, guest-focused team member to join our Breakfast, Laundry, and Housekeeping departments. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who is dependable, flexible, and committed to creating a clean and enjoyable experience for our guests.

What You’ll Do
Breakfast Set-Up & Service
- Arrive on time (6:15 AM weekdays / 6:45 AM weekends & holidays)
- Set up, monitor, and replenish breakfast items in accordance with brand and safety standards
- Greet guests warmly and assist with any breakfast-related needs
Guest Experience
- Maintain a clean and welcoming breakfast/lobby area
- Clear and sanitize tables, restock supplies, and ensure guest satisfaction
- Address guest questions or concerns professionally
Food Safety & Sanitation
- Follow strict food handling and hygiene protocols
- Conduct and log temperature checks of hot and cold food items
- Keep equipment clean and operating safely
Daily Cleaning & Prep Duties
- Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing checklists
- Restock condiments, utensils, and breakfast supplies
- Clean all surfaces and properly dispose of food waste
Communication & Team Support
- Log relevant shift information and communicate supply or maintenance needs
- Work cooperatively with front desk and housekeeping teams
- Be flexible in assisting with light duties in other departments when needed

- Availability is key – must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and early mornings
- Friendly, punctual, and reliable
- Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Professional in both appearance and communication
- Committed to cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction
Schedule
- Weekday shifts begin at 6:15 AM
- Weekend/Holiday shifts begin at 6:45 AM
- Part-time hours with potential for additional shifts as needed
