We are currently hiring a Part-Time Dispatcher in Montreal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating drivers, managing schedules, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining clear communication with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch drivers and coordinate daily routes
- Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, delays, and updates
- Monitor deliveries and ensure on-time performance
- Handle incoming calls and customer inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and dispatch logs
- Resolve delivery and routing issues in a timely manner
Requirements
- Fluent in French (mandatory)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced workplace
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, dispatch systems)
- Previous dispatch or logistics experience is an asset
